jefferson park

Jefferson Park is the renovation of two abandoned historic buildings for affordable housing. This project was designed to meet the U.S. Department of Interior’s standards for historic tax credits. Mostue and Associates worked with the developers to get DHCD tax credit approvals.
The project includes 32 units of housing, two reconfigured accessible units, site work and new laundry rooms in both buildings. The rear decks of both buildings were demolished and rebuilt; ramps were also installed. When renovations began these buildings were inhabited by pigeons and squatters, now families live in these lovingly restored historic buildings that are a symbol to the neighborhood.
This project work was performed while Mike Wolfson was the Project Manager and Project Designer for Mostue & Associates Architects (now Davis Square Architects). All images are used with the permission of Davis Square Architects
